With the children off school for the holidays, keeping them amused has forced me to let crafting take a back seat,but today I did find time to get the stamps out and make a few cards :)

2010 Diary Project

Heres some pictures of how the 2009 calendar turned out. As an alternative to the ready bound diary, Lucy is also making it available on cd so you can take it to your local printer and have it printed out yourself if you wish to. How cool to have your own art work in a diary that someone is going to be using everyday!

Scented Art Block

This is for a swap on Zuzu's forum where we were challenged to do something we had never done before.I've never worked with wax before so i decided to alter a block of wood,adding wax to it,its lavender scented so smells lovely :)

Altered Tin

After finishing the tin of Jack Daniels fudge i obviously couldn't just throw it away!

Ethans Easter Garden

My sons school project was to make an easter garden,of course mum helped a bit!! lol

Frosted Acetate

This is the first time i've used frosted acetate and i have to say its a lovely surface to make cards with,much better than the clear stuff.

The top pic is scanned the other is photographed,not sure if either of them do it much justice though.

The rear of the card is backed with Basic Grey Periphery paper,i've also used various flowers,angelina fibres and i've embossed it.
