Textured Box

This began life as a plain wooden box,to get the texture i've used crushed eggshells and flowersoft, just basically glue them on,leave to dry then paint in your chosen colours.Add beads etc to create more dimension.I love the eggshell technique but i personally find eggshell alone a bit boring, which is why one day after sitting looking at it i thought of flowersoft, don't ask me why it just popped into my head lol.As it stands now its a piece full of texture and its very touchy feely.

Thanks for looking :)

Wow at all the texture and what a good use for flower soft. It's a lovely box Mel.

Oh that is lovely Mel - I have had a bag of crushed egg shells on my desk for a week now - I really must get my finger out and make something with them.

I agree, this really looks very touchy feely. The texture the eggshells and flower soft have made looks brill :-)

I think the flower soft is a fab choice and I can see why you chose it - love the colours and the texture.
