Scented Art Block

This is for a swap on Zuzu's forum where we were challenged to do something we had never done before.I've never worked with wax before so i decided to alter a block of wood, adding wax to it,its lavender scented so smells lovely :)

Looks great Mel - I haven't used wax either - just waiting for my daughter in law to bring the some wax pellets - she forgot last time. But drizzled melted candle ( if that is what you did ) has created a great effect.

It's fabby, love the texture of it and it has a really ethereal feel. I haven't even thought what I am doing yet!.

Mel, this is great. It's it fun working with wax... Did you use beeswax? If not, wait until you play with that on your wood and collage works...plus it smells really good and you will love it. Nice job on this...I love the fact that you added lavendar! Cheers!
